Applicants with Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center must be 16 years of age by their start date. Employees under 18 will be required to secure a work permit when school is in session.

Availability dates and schedule requests are a key factor in the selection process. Be realistic and specific about these dates. Your chances of being hired increase if you are flexible about your job choices and are available for the entire length of the season (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Applicants who can work for the majority of the season will be given priority. 

What is our hiring process?

Applications are accepted either in person at The Lodge or online, however, only one method is necessary. Applications are only available for completion when positions are available.

During the summer hiring season, paper applications may be returned to The Lodge during the following days/times only:

• Any Wednesday - 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Any Thursday - 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or 3:00 pm - 6:00 p.m.
• Some Saturdays may also be available beginning April 1 (check with the lodge for specific dates).

During these times, when HR is available, the applicant will receive a short screening interview. Online applicants may be contacted via telephone or email to schedule a screening interview.

Based on the screening interview and availability, the application will be given to the department hiring manager for review. If the hiring manager is interested in an applicant, they will contact the applicant directly for a second interview.

Due to the volume of applications, candidates not selected for employment will not be notified.
