Welcome to Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center

Set in the midst of a 1,850-acre state park, Maumee Bay offers not only the finest of recreational facilities but also a unique natural environment created by the convergence of the land and Lake Erie. The balance of recreational facilities with the natural world gives visitors a diverse experience in a coastal environment. The lodge, cottages and golf course are nestled among scenic meadows, wet woods and lush marshes teeming with wildlife.

Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center is Ohio's premier lodge and the newest state park. The Lodge sits along the shore of Lake Erie and a two-story native stone fireplace welcomes guests to a massive beam and glass lobby designed to blend with the natural elements of the park. The 120 modern guestrooms all with private balcony/patio provide spectacular views of the surrounding park. The 24 cottages feature fireplaces and modern amenities adjacent to the wetlands or the lush greens of the golf course. The farthest cottage is only one mile from the Lodge.

Bring the Entire Family

This is the ideal family retreat! Children's recreation is offered most weekends and daily during summer season. This recreation can include games, arts and crafts, hayrides or hikes. There are 256 family campground sites with electrical hookups.  Pets are also permitted in the campground.

Weddings, Meetings & Conferences

Meeting facilities are available for corporate events, reunions, church retreats and wedding receptions. Motor coach tours are most welcome for a day trip or for an overnight stay.

Dine with a View of Lake Erie

You will find several dining options from our full-service continental cuisine restaurant, Water's Edge, to snacks and light fare in the Icebreaker Lounge. During the summer season, additional venues are available for casual fare.

The lodge is open year-round; however, areas such as golf course, beach and outdoor pool are open seasonally. Peak season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
